Just thanks for all your great information & quick responses. I looked at 3 different brands of crossovers: Nissan Rogue and Santa Fe; Saturn Vue; Mazda CX-7. The reviews were very helpful when I went to check out the different brands & models. Keep up the great work. I will be leaving my own review after I have driven my new Mazda CX-7 for a while. I just want to thank you. I recently needed to buy two cars and I used Edmunds.com as part of that process. Your site was extremely helpful in researching, locating, and valuing both new cars as well as my trade-in. In fact, because of your TMV® data, I was able to negotiate prices below your TMV® on both the hot selling new Prius as well as a new SUV. I would not buy a new car without using Edmunds.com. Thanks for giving consumers the information they need to get a fair deal!

This method worked like a charm in my negotiations with the dealer. I went in armed with the TMV® of the new car I wanted to purchase as well as the print out of my trade-in and the current incentives available. They didn't argue with the figures and I signed a deal that was not only satisfying financially but emotionally as well. Thank you.

Since January 2008 I've bought 3 autos: used 2007 Pontiac G6, new 2008 Toyota Highlander, new 2008 Ford Escape. You have an excellent web site full of needed information to buy a car. I saved $$$$ thanks to Edmunds. Only problem the wife says I can't buy any more cars (this year). Thanks very much.

Edmunds, I wish to thank you for the info you provide. Currently going through what my husband refers to as a "mid-life" crisis — wanting a two-seater sports car at 50. I've been researching for 2 to 3 months and your info has provided me with the confidence to walk away with no guilt when I know I am being "played." Your help has been so valuable that the hubby doesn't worry about me getting sucked into a bad deal. Also, your report from the writer who described how car salespersons work has more than prepared me for the games played. Although I have not purchased my "mid-life" crisis car, I feel totally prepared to make a well informed, excellent decision — thanks to the info gathered on your web-site.

Web site service and information was great. Very easy to access/navigate through. After utilizing this web site service I felt I had enough car buying knowledge that I was able to approach the dealerships with confidence. The convenience and time saving aspect of this service is wonderful. Making two time consuming rituals, "driving from dealership to dealership", and or, "calling to find that one person you need to talk to at each dealership to negotiate with", obsolete saved me days of headaches and hassling. After researching vehicles for a few months using your site my fiancé and I recently purchased 2 new vehicles using your buying techniques, and your TMV® prices. She got a 2009 Toyota Corolla LE for 2 thousand below the TMV® price and I got a 2008 Nissan Rogue S AWD for 1 thousand under TMV®. Thanks to your site we didn’t get bullied by the dealerships and actually knew going into the dealer the tricks they use and avoided them. I can't say enough about the usefulness of your website. We were looking for a new vehicle in a short period of time and found all the information we needed prior to going to the dealer. Requesting quotes and information from the dealers beforehand saved us time, gas and money. We are promoting your site to anyone and everyone. Thank you again for the good information. This is just a comment regarding my experience in purchasing a new Honda CRV. I followed the links on your website regarding buying a new car and secured several price quotes. By reading and following the tips on negotiating a fair price without dealer add-ons that I didn't want or need, I was able to finalize a fantastic deal on a beautiful CRV EX-L at invoice price. All of the research on Edmunds.com was extremely beneficial. I found my experience to be hassle free. Because I was so prepared and had done my homework before stepping foot into the dealership, this proved to be my best new car purchase experience. Thank you Edmunds.com for all the great information! I will certainly be sharing my experience using your website with others.

After bargaining with a dealer and bringing the price down from $23K to $18.8K on a new loaded Tiburon GT V6 SE, I walked out and told him I would return when he gave me the BEST price. Edmunds site listed it at $17,200. I returned a week later armed with the printout and ended up buying at $16,785 plus 415.00 documentation fee, or $17,200! Thanks Edmunds for saving me several thousand dollars. There was no argument from the dealer after seeing the printout.

No question that edmunds.com is fantastic. Read tips and advice yesterday and with the help of my partner (husband) was able to negotiate a deal for a 2008 Acura MDX for lower than we expected. Wow, what a great experience. No haggling. Just went in with our bottom line price 37,500 which is below the dealer cost and came away with a purchase of 38,000. Yes to TMV!!!! Yes to dealer cash!!! Thank you so very much. Would not have been able to be so effective without edmunds.com

In the past, my new car buying experience have been a nightmare and I walked away from the deal feeling that I had been taken by the dealerships. With the help of your web site, I walked away from my latest new car purchase feeling great. Going in armed with information that was provided buy your web site, I expected pay $100 over invoice on a 2008 Tundra, but with little luck and the negotiating skills that you web suggested, I was able purchase the truck $200 below invoice.

Just wanted to say thanks for providing a great service to everyone. I will say that the information that I read and gathered here, along with the TMV pricing was most invaluable. I requested quotes from multiple dealers and from that I was able to make a choice on who I wanted to deal with. When I walked into the dealership, I was confident and prepared to negotiate. In the process of making my deal, I was able to upgrade to leather seating and they also gave up the dealer holdback fee. With all that said, I paid $550 over the invoice price. Thanks again.

The price the dealer gave to us was far beyond what we were expecting to pay but when we showed them the printout from Edmonds.com they dropped the price to below what you were even suggesting. I was ready to buy a new minivan and edmunds cut my research time to literally few hours. I configured my vehicle and received quotes from the dealers and next day I found the best deal with $355 below invoice (& $722 below TMV® value listed on edmunds.com). Shopping for new car has never been easy, but this time it was a piece of cake with edmund.com on my side.
